AILG Training Programme
One of the key functions of the AILG is to ensure that elected members receive appropriate and relevant training and development as they govern Irish local authorities currently and into the future. Since 2014, 6 modules of training and development have successfully been delivered on an annual basis by the AILG.
Our training programme is delivered on a regional basis in conjunction with the Department of Housing, Planning and
Local Government with speakers being made available from across various government departments, agencies and local authorities.
