There was an excellent turnout at our Module 6 Training entitled “GDPR and Data Protection – What Councillors need to Know” which was delivered by Governance consultant and Trainer Gerry Egan.
The presentations gave elected members an overview of Data Protection Legislation and also explored the implications of data protection legislation for elected members who are data controllers and what this means in the context of representing constituents and running for election.
