The President of the Association of Irish Local Government (AILG) Cllr. Mary Hoade joins the lineup of guest speakers who will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and the 40th anniversary of the American Irish Legislators Society of New York State. NYS Senator Tim Kennedy is hosting a webinar on March 10th at 5pm (Irish Time) with Guest Speakers, Chair of the Ways and Means Committee and Chair of the Congressional Friends of Ireland Caucus Congressman Richard Neal, Chair of the Senate of Ireland Senator Mark Daly and Leader of the Seanad Senator Regina Doherty.
This will be a chance to support co-operation and connection between the two countries and celebrate the long and enduring relationship between the two republics.
Based in the small town of Headford, Cllr. Mary Hoade represents Tuam Municipal District on Galway County Council and was elected President of the Association of Irish Local Government (AILG) at its online AGM on 28 October 2020.
